Day 2 Day Living Skills

Lamp Inc has for over 20 years successfully provided high quality, not for profit, community based consumer and carers support services to people with mental illnesses living in the Greater South West regions of WA.

Lamp’s Group Support Program (Day to Day (D2D) is based on a delivery model of care that integrates stepped care, recovery-oriented practice, family support, person-centred planning, and a holistic strengths-based approach. The group activities program is delivered in Busselton, Margaret River and Bridgetown. Aside from core activities, the group activities program includes provision of information, coping strategies, referrals and peer support.

The key aim associated with Lamp’s delivery of the Day2Day program is to provide eligible participants in the Southwest region of Western Australia with opportunities to engage in community-based psychosocial group activities that enhance their personal wellbeing, choice and control and integration into the community.

Lamp’s co-design group planning meetings with participants occur in Busselton, Margaret River and Bridgetown. These meetings provide opportunities for participants to plan, co-design and co-lead activities as well as take ownership of their role in the program.

In accord with participant preferences Lamp provides a range of recreational and social activities such as pre-vocation activities, goal development, cooking, life skills, crafts, art therapy, music and external activities such as social outings, horse-riding, coffee days etc.

The group activities program are available in Busselton, Margaret River and Bridgetown for up to five days per week from 10:00am and 2:00pm.
