Lamp Inc. is a locally based psychosocial support service working with consumers, carers, professionals and communities throughout the South West. Lamp has an established and successful 21+ year history of mental health specific service delivery with over 30 trained staff and offices in Busselton, Margaret River, Bridgetown and Bunbury. Our organisation has a complement of professional service workers including many with lived experiences, degrees in psychology, sociology, education, community services and health. As a rural service provider Lamp understands the challenges and differences of country living and is proactive in its advocacy and support for rural local services and partnerships. Being part of the initial WA NDIS trial site Lamp has been successfully delivering NDIS services to consumers and carers with a well-resourced and committed team of NDIS workers. Lamp staff are trained in mental health Certificate IV, drug and alcohol, cultural and gender diversity and mental health education with a clear mandate of individual service provision, inclusion and recovery for life. The organisation is involved in several Rural and State Consortiums, Boards, Health Advisory Councils, we uphold the belief rural services should be “Place Based” and relevant to people of the region.
